Fillers are temporary, lasting 6-24 months to a year depending on product placement and your metabolism. Why such a large range in duration? Well, hyaluranic acid is metabolized by the body and this happens faster in areas where muscle is used more frequently such as the lips and muscles around the mouth and eyes. HA, last much longer when it is placed deep below the muscle in areas not used as much such as the cheeks and chin and jaw. Lastly, you have to consider the technology of the filler as it pertains to the placement.
