What You Need To Know
- Appointments are about an hour long
- Your skin may look pink to red for 24-48 hours (like a mild sunburn) but should NOT be bloody or scabbed
- You will not be able to wear make up for 24 hours post procedure
- On average best results are seen after 3 treatments and results last up to six months (*treatment of scaring may take additional treatments)

What Is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is the manual exfoliation of the status corneum (top layer of the skin) and the vellus hair. It is an exfoliation process using a medical grade blade that reveals fresh smooth skin. It allows better penetration of skin care products and a smoother application of make-up for a glowing appearance. AND ~ It's just a myth that dermaplaning causes facial hair to grow back thicker or darker ~
When Should I Dermaplane?
- Dermaplaning is the perfect follow up treatment to show off your smooth fresh face after having any aesthetic treatment such as Botox/Dysport filler,or microneedling. Schedule your two week follow up and get dermaplaning while your in office to take full advance of that beautiful glowing face.
- Treatments are recommended every 2 weeks for upkeep, or prior to attending a special event or taking pictures when you might want your skin to look it's best.
Why Can't I Just Use My "Eyebrow Shaver"?
Home devices are not smooth blades like the surgical scalpel used for dermaplaning. Home devices often have dull jagged edges that cause micro tears to the surface of the skin allowing bacteria to grow in your skin. Please arrive with a clean face free of of make-up. Avoid the use of actives such as retinol and tretinoin for 24 hours prior to your visit. Treatments are about 30 minutes in length and require no downtime after the procedure. You are free to wash your face wear make-up and go about your day with fresh glowing skin.
TNS Moisturizing Face Mask

This is a 20 min face mask applied to the face after your dermaplaning to provide growth factors and hydration. Please keep in mind this will extend the length of your visit to a total of 1 hour as the mask does sit on your face for 20 min.

Cancellation Policy
Appointments must be cancelled 24 hours in advance. Failure to call or cancel online 24 hours in advance will result in a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellation Fees must be paid prior to re-booking and a card will be needed on file to reschedule.
